Any east coast microbrews I need to try?
I am visiting Georgia in a few weeks. I have sampled a lot of microbrews from the Pacific Northwest. Is there anything tasty out east?

In Atlanta is Terrapin Brewery and they make some great microbrews. From Asheville, North Carolina (and I'm pretty sure it's available in GA) is Highland Brew Co. Some from South Carolina that are worth checking out are Charleston Brews and Palmetto Brew Co. There's some great brews from New England but I'm not sure about the availability in Atlanta.
Cheers!

The East Coast is a hot bed for Microbreweries! Come up to the Baltimore/Washington DC area... it will be a treat!! He is a sample of the breweries in this area. Capital City Brewing, Brewers Alley. Brewers Art, DuClaw, Fordham, Clipper City, Ellicott Mills, Wild Goose, Oxford Brewing, Red Brick Station, Rock Bottom Brewery, and Oliver's at Wharf Rat. All of these are awesome breweries with terrific micros and seasonal beers! Check them out!!

I've heard good things about 5 Seasons Brewing in Atlanta - they make a really nice Vienna-style lager, as well as a number of other Ales. I've also enjoyed a couple of brews put out by Terrapin beer, alot of their stuff tends to be _very_ hoppy, so if you like that in a beer they'll hook you right up.
