Is it normal for my black cat to have black gums?

Yeah, I have a black cat as well and underneath his mouth, he has black spots. So, it's quite normal for this too happen, especially to the pads on the cat's paws. They'll turn black as well!

One of my cats has a grey and white face, half of nose is pink other half is black . . .and his gums are the same!!

One of my cats is a very dark grey tortie and her gums and lips are so grey they're almost black.

So I guess I'd have to say that yes, its normal for your cats gums to take on the black colouring.

yes, some do! i had one once that had black inside the ears too!!
