that is because Buddha never claimed to be god. Buddha is more like a teacher. [thats what my Buddhist bf told me]...also christians believe jesus is the son of god...therefor they believe he is god.

i have no idea what a Buddhist guy would say...also because there are SO many forms of Buddhism. my bfs grandfather [who is VERY buddhist] says you shouldnt talk bad about other peoples beliefs and religion because that is negative and you should respect others and thier beliefs.

i think muslims believe jesus is a prophet of god...but not the son of god. buddhism isnt a western religion so they dont even know who the heck jesus is! more probably know now but asain people grow up in a more buddhist background[ancestors].

I'm a Christian and I go by what the Bible tells me, because it's the True Word of God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and in the Bible God said not to worship idols and in the New Testament, Jesus said to beware of FALSE prophets.

I don't know anything at all about Buddhism. If they pray to a statue of Buddha,then Buddha is a pagan Idol god. Not the same God of Abraham,Isaac ,Jacob (Israel),Joseph,David,and Solomon.

You should just ask God Himself...

Jesus is God, or God the son.

All others are merely men.

Muslim is correct bkas Budha is a erstwhile Prince & Jesus is a ' Nominee ' of God afterall...........
