and create your avatar. Save it! Then update your profile (click on your "smiley face", click the blue link that says "Edit My Info" and select that you want to use your avatar. Preview and Save!

To use a photo of yourself, you need to set up a 360 account (see the same place above where you choose your avatar & you will see a place to set up a 360 account). You must be 18 to do so. Once you set it up, post pictures to it, select the one you want as you new avatar, then go back to Edit My Info and select the option to use your 360 photo.

First, you need to go to your profile and change the setting from No Avatar to an avatar. Second, have you created an avatar? If not, do so. Once you have an avatar, and change the setting, then your avatar should appear. If you have created one, then when you change the setting your avatar should appear next to your questions.

Where it says, Hello [username], click your username, and edit your info. Click on Get/Edit my Yahoo! Avatar. When you're done, select Use My Yahoo! Avatar!

in case you prefer to do it merely for this section, click on your username it is above your 'entire factors' earned (acceptable left nook of the reveal screen) click upload info and then pick.
