For the guys?

I just broke up with my fiancé after years of being un-happy with each other. The reason why I waited so long....she is beautiful. I enjoyed the fact that every time we went out people always commented on how hot my fiancé was. But that only lasted for so long, other then her looks I couldn’t stand her towards the end. So from personal experience, next girl I date is going to be interesting and have a personality more like mine, if she is a looker then even better but will not be a deal breaker if she isn't.

Usually men have to go through a few high-maintenance woman before they learn to just say no. Men are attracted to looks... it is not the most important thing but it is the first thing a man notices... and women too. Once you are in a situation to know a person you can fall for anyone. The same goes for women... the world is full of nice guys who have good jobs, solid cars, and great hearts... why do women always like the guy with the Harley, the tattoo, or the guy that ignores them? It is all the same. It just takes time to learn from these kinds of things. Your friend will wake up and smell the coffee at some point...

well.... you have to remember that men are very visually stimulated. even though a man will initially want a really good lookin woman, when the man is ready to settle he will go more with the personality. also, there are different types of attractive. there is the classy and elegant look which is more likely to land a guy lookin for a relationship or sex. there's the hot skanky look, which will attract men who are lookin for sex. there's an innocent attractiveness, which will attract those guys who usually want to take care of the woman. remember with men, initially, it's almost always the physical appearance (kind of the gateway). then the personality will be noticed.

Personally I couldn't be bothered with high maintenance women. Sometimes certain women have to look good because their personality has all the qualities of toads @ss. "Beauty may be skin deep but ugly really goes to the bone"

For me, its a balance. I dont want someone that is ugly, but has a great personality as much as I dont want someone thats drop-dead-gorgeous and has the personality of a stick.

Say you are walking down the street and you see a guy that looks like a sloth......would you think to yourself, "self, he is ugly as hell, but I bet hes a nice guy"? NO! You wouldnt ! First impression counts for alot, just dont make it the only thing that does count..........

Most guys are pigs (im a guy, so don't dismiss me yet). The really good guys will be interested in your personality more than your looks. So if you see a guy that sees past your breasts and into your soul, go for him! But girls have to do the same, too. Its really the same issue for the non-perfect guys, too.

Because people, men and women, think a "good looking" partner is a status symbol and they want "approval" from their friends.

For a relationship looks are important but so is personality. If a girl is a nice person it makes her sexier to me.

Not every guy is this way..

The ones who keep the dumb and sexy material girls just do it to have a trophy girl on their arm and an attractive girl to screw.
