What is the best eye moisturizer to use while on Retin-A?

I use retin-A and i don't get it anywhere NEAR my eyes, but my eyes seem to peel and peel and peel. It hurts and makes my makeup look yucky. Whats the best non-comdogenic, non oily moisturizer to use that won't make me break out?

Ah, yes; I know the problem.

    First, try using less Retin-A.

No help? If it's not already the cream, switch to the cream (in lieu of the alcohol-based gel, I mean.) The 'Retin-A Micro' might be worth a try. (http://www.retinamicro.com/)

Best bet for peeling seems to be just about any moisturiser with AHAs. NeoStrata makes great stuff (http://www.neostrata.com/), but may not be the easiest to find outside of Canada. Most companies specialising in AHAs seem to make an eye-specific thing.

This isn't an AHA product, but I use it and like it -- non-greasy & easy to use --

'Vichy Oligo 25 Eyes Anti-Fatigue Cooling Effect Stick.' I notice it seems to not exist in the US, but it is, like everything else on the planet, sold on eBay.

The BEST moisturizer I have found is by The Body Shop. It is a little pink tube of Vitamin E face lotion and it will really help the peeling around the eyes. I swear by this lotion. I have not found anything better than this. You can go on-line to www.bodyshop.com or if you have a store near you, just ask for it. It will make a HUGE difference and it is inexpensive.

i might want to easily use Retin A Micro to regulate the zits and use an rather moisturizer. you may reason undesirable burns on your face blending OTC and Rx zits remedies , even face wash and moisturizers can react with the Retin A Micro. I burned my skin and it peeled for 2 months because I used Retin A Micro and an zits wash mutually.

I love Elderflower Eye Gel ($8.50) by the Body Shop. It's a gel, so it won't irritate your already sensitive skin. (I've been on Retin-A before and it made my skin SO sensitive!) Also, you can keep it in the refrigerator so it's nice and cool when you dab it around the eye area. I have really sensitive eyes and I wear contacts and this hasn't bothered me a bit.

But if you're looking for a cream, I've also used Vitamin E Eye Cream ($14) also by the Body Shop. It definitely moisturizes, but I personally prefer the previous product.

    Hope this helps!

Try just applying a small amount of pure jojoba oil around the eyes after applying the Retin A. This will leave the eye area very hydrated. It is non-comodegenic and works brilliantly. The only problem is it can affect your makeup, so it's best just to use at night. HTH : )

You have to be careful when using a moisturizer and retina, it has to be very mild or else your skin will burn. Try not to get retina close to your eyes, but an extra rich moisturizer around your eyes will help. La Roche Posay carries a great line of products

There is a very nice eye moisturizer from Arbonne that is made from natural ingredients. It should help.
