Can I get emailed every time a question is asked that uses particular keywords?
I would like to be able to answer questions on specific subjects, so receiving an email when they come up would be very helpful

That would be a good idea. I would like to see many more notifications based on other events too. Question on certain subjects, changed answer to question, and additional comments on question.

It's not possible to do that, but it is possible to use Answers in conjuction with My Yahoo!
Search for a question.
At the bottom of the search page you'll see "Add your Answers search for "your search" to My Yahoo!:" click on the My Yahoo! button.
On the next page, click the "Add to" button.
You'll see a notification that the search has been added to your My Yahoo! page.
Click the link to go to your My Yahoo! page and any questions regarding your subjects will appear in the designated area.
