Don't leave and don't worry about being married. You already live with him and have developed a life together. What is marriage? Do you not have a marriage already (minus the government paperwork)? It sounds like you should just leave things as they are. Love is love, regardless of whether or not you say "I do".

I really dont know what the reasons are that he has given you as to why he does not want to get married. I was with my husband for seven years before we got married 3 years ago. If you really love him and he loves you and is treating with respect and he's loving your child as his own, I woul say hang in there.
