will they remake star wars 4, 5 and 6?
I recently saw on my on-demand the making of anakin to vader, where george lucas stated that hayden chritiansen must bulk up if he is to reprise his role as vader, but because of the "controversy" of all the loser's who dont see the bigger picture, I dont know if lucas has decided to shelf the remake. When I mean losers, I mean the people who cant accept that a remake of the film will give it better quality. I saw the movies as little kid and I thought about how great it was, but that was over 10 years ago and i saw them again and I saw crap. I say remake these movies with our technology.

While I agree that remakes of 4,5, and 6 would have obvious technological improvements. I must point out that the transcendance of time makes the Star Wars series unique and special to all other trilogies. The comparison from the past technology to the presence in no way takes away from the quality of Lucases work. To the Contrary, it accentuates it in my opinion.

I think it would be in VERY poor taste to remake them. Lucas did the Special Edition versions, but when those became the only versions available for many years, fans were very upset that they could not get their hands on the original version unless someone happened to be selling old copies on ebay. It was a big deal when it was announced that Lucas would finally put the original version on DVD for the first time (and it's currently available).
Part of the charm of the original trilogy is the fact that they didn't use so much CGI that Lucas became obsessed with in the prequels. With the popularity of the original version of the original trilogy, don't hold your breath for any remakes.

No i dont think so. Coz if they made remakes they will suck without the young stars like Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill with their young faces. But even though they are remakes the audience cant get the "star wars spirit" they showed in the original films.

NO!!!! Do NOT want a re-make of these movies -- the Star Wars III was HORRIBLE -- disconnected, jumped around, just was a jumbled mess.
LEAVE IT ALONE -- never re-make this series. It was NOT that great to begin with, and I do NOT like the remakes which focus on all the special effects to the detriment that story is NOT part of the movie.

No remakes. I happen to love them as they are. When it comes down to it, it's the substance of the story we all love. Anyways, Lucas is done with making big-budget movies, with the exception of Indiana Jones 4 and some other movie (I forget the name). He is going into television and small-budget films.

well he did remake star wars 4,5 and 6 by digitalizing adding extra scenes, Hayden at the end when Luke sees he father at the party. People did/didn't like it so he released the movies in their theatrical versions along with the enhanced versions.

He doesn't have to. Did you know the original story had 9 episodes? There are 3 episodes AFTER episode 6.
Not surprisingly, 7,8,and 9.
I'd rather see them make to the big screen.
