How to get more majors in a college?
is it possible to get a college or university to bring in new majors into it's system? if so, HOW?? please only serious answers!

I did this a couple of times in my academic career. It is a lot of work.
First, you need a faculty sponsor - preferably the Chair of the Department where you want the majors to be.
Draw up a request, a rationale, a proposed syllabus.
If the sponsor is willing, he presents it to the Dean of the school, then he takes it to the faculty Academic Committee for approval. This usually takes several visits, with reworking in between.
Once it gets through Academic Committee, it goes to the President of the College [some places also require it to be submitted to the Faculty Senate] - if the President approves, it goes to the Board for approval.
While going through this process, make sure that every faculty member who might be affected, and certainly every Dean who possibly might be affected, is consulted.
