What is transcendance?

In my understanding transcendence is being able to rise above all the petty life's vulgarities, politics, disliking people , intolerance etc to where you have a more enlightened state. You are more at peace with the world and are thankful for all the things that happen to you good or bad . You know this because there is a reason for everything happening in the world and it's part of your life lessons.

i think the term can be used in a few ways by different people and faiths

to transcend suggests that you are being raised

i would use it when i speak of raising my vibrations to that of a more spiritual level ... it is used in this way when people speak of meditation

some may use it to describe reincarnations ... when they transcend lives that each life is higher on the steps to Nirvana and perfection

It means to be above responding to something or letting go of an old hurt or conflict. It is having Grace enough to let things roll off your shoulders instead of getting worked up over something that won't matter or last that long anyhow.
