Which dress for a holiday party?
I bought a dress a couple of weeks ago to wear to my company's 'holiday' party in four weeks but I found another one that I really love and I don't know which one to get/wear. The one I have now is blue with a black overlay that has some sparkles on it and it is not quite floor length... dress #2 is a light-gold satin that is floor length with a slight train detail. Both dresses are low-cut in the front and have open backs with great details. I like the blue/black dress because it will be easier to find a pair of black shoes than something that matches light gold (i'm thinking clear). I think what's stopping me is that dress #2 is almost $20 more and being a single mom, i hate to spend so much on a dress I'll wear once (or could I get away with wearing it in future years?). Dress #1 requires me to work out some because it's a little small, and i think i would be more comfortable in the gold dress. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Go with dress # 2 they sell gold heels at a lot of stores, I think that the gold dress is something you can wear more than one time and you could also wear it in the spring and summer. A cheap place to find heels is payless. http://www.payless.com/Catalog/ProductDetail.aspx?...

Wear the gold dress. It sounds like it will be more comfortable. You could wear also any type of shoes with the gold dress also, not just clear. A skin tone(Taupe) would work or also a metallic even silver. With the price you can always sell it after you wear it to a consignment store and get some money back!

Well, I think that the blue dress would look better and the gold for comfort. I don't know cuz I am not going to wear it!

the 1st and the final ones are the terrific. notice: confirm you do no longer elect a gown this is in simple terms too short by way of fact it particularly is wintry climate and you do no longer prefer to be freezing and displaying too plenty leg would not unavoidably respectfully provoke a guy. If it particularly is obtainable, get the gown in a Christmas-like shade (blue, silver, gold, purple, green, white) and upload some mix of shade. as an occasion, in case you elect the blue gown, assessment it with a purple poinsettia flower on your hair or something.

i tihnkyou should go with dress number one it is cheaper and it sounds like it look nice but if you want to keep looking i would go to a discount store and try to find a silver or dark burgundy dress to your knees though you really dont need a long dress down to the floor unless it is really dressy.

The both sound great but the blue one sounds better! Blue and sparkles is so holiday! Good luck and have fun!

sparkles are always more fun!!! The gold one sounds too dressy anyway...and why don't you use the extra $20 for something to help you exersize...work out video, sports bra, herbal supplements....
