My friend used to make an ambrisia style desert with the following ingredients... help please...?

we know it had ABC pasta, mandarine oranges, whipped cream, eggs (the one we had was a joke about being severly beaten). She originally got it from her ex's mom in Michigan... but obviously can't call her up for it. I searched online but didnt have any luck. I remember they called it "Everlasting Salad". Hopefully someone on here can help.

This one doesn't list the mandarine oranges, but I'm sure you can just add them in, maybe take out one of the apples to compensate for texture.

    Ingredients:

4 apples -- peeled and sliced

1 can crushed pineapple - drained

1 package macaroni rings -- cooked & cooled

    1 pint whipping cream

    1 cup sugar

    4 eggs -- beaten

    2 tablespoons flour

    Preparation:

Cook the sugar, eggs, and flour until thick. Pour the mixture above over the mixed apples, pineapple, and macaron rings. Refrigerate overnight. Before serving, whip the cream and fold into mixture above. Cherries and/or chopped walnuts may be added if desired.
