Should I move to Canada New Brunswick?

Everybody here is dreaming to get a job and move down south. More money, more job opportunities, and milder climate -

Here, you just freeze your *** off..work like a horse...pay lots of taxes...very expensive

Think again tomorrow. Don't make a fast decision.

I have lived in New Brunswick ALL MY LIFE. It is a beautiful place, with very friendly people. There is a low crime rate. Housing is very affordable, and providing you have a good education, no problem in finding a job!! It really isn't that cold here at all. No matter what these yahoos on here may say. Winter can be pretty cold at times, but not overly!!! And summer is HOT HOT HOT!!!

And it is not overly populated. And I must say the guy that mentioned the capital was more densly populated, should think again. Fredericton is the capital city of New Brunswick, and it isn't that populated. It isn't even the largest city. Saint John, is the largest city and VERY densly populated. I don't advise you to move there though. I personally don't like it. Moncton is the place to be!! A lot of good jobs!!

But if you are looking for a rural community, there are plenty, with nice schools, and friendly people. I live in a little town, and I don't even lock my doors!!! A very nice place!!!

I have lived in New Brunswick for the last 9 years after spending 17 in Alberta and 6 in British Columbia. I have also lived in both Montreal and Toronto. This is a great province to raise a family. I am English, as is my B.C. wife but our 2 youngest boys go to a french school and are fluently bi-lingual. While we could not afford to buy a home in B.C. , within 3 months of moving here, we were able to purchase a home. New Brunswick may not offer unlimited job opportunities but there is work here. Winters are not too bad, summers are excellent. Go to MLS.ca , click on New Brunswick and you can check out prices for homes, way cheaper than Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary . Depends what you want but N.B. is a great place, much lower crime rates than other areas. Feel free to check my profile for my e-mail address and feel free to use it for anymore info. Well as a canadian i've traveled to New Brunswick and know that the winter is very rough lots of snow and such, as well the roads are not so well as they are in the other provinces, along with the fact that other then the captial there are no other really densly populated cities. The atmosphere is very quite, nice , relaxing and enjoyable the people there are very nice as well. Job wise i'm not sure since i've never stayed that long to have to have a job in NB but I do know that much of the jobs in canada are not found in NB. Put if you have found the job you've been doing in NB and don't mind snow then it would be a good choice to move to New Brunswick as well your living in the 6th best country to live in the world(2006 stats).

You will never know unless you try it..Canada is a great country and there is lots of opportunities for anyone willing to try. There are pros and cons and I don't have much info. from which to provide advice, but something must have put the idea in your head..So go for it.

I would suggest that you go a a vacation in N.B to get the feel of the place before you move...I think your going to love it

you must apply for permanent residency before you come to canada, you must qualify to immigrate you must be educated and a skilled worker

umm,, i live in canada but in toronto and its not that bad, but winter sux! its pretty cool country, u will like it, and depends wat kind of ppl u living with :D, and its expensive country too.
