Is my brother-in-law's dog pregnant?
She has been in heat for about 1 - 1 1/2 weeks. She recently had an encounter with a male dog. They were locked together. What is the possibility that she is pregnant from this one encounter?

yes, there is a great possibility that she is pregnant especially if you don't want her to be. just like people ...it only takes once. you will know for sure in about 63 days

Some dogs are more fertile than others. If you want to be sure, take it to a Vet. There's a 50/50 chance.

chances are still pretty good even one breeding can do the trick. Good luck. If you take her to the vet when she is about 45 to 50 days and then you will be able to tell for sure.

she is probably pregnant. usually if they get stuck together that is a sure sign. in a few weeks you can take her to the vet and the vet will be able to tell. CONGRATULATIONS!
