What's the best debut album ever?

Erykah Badu - Baduizm

Guns N' Roses, Appetite For Destruction (1987). I believe this was also the biggest selling debut album of all time until Ace Of Base in 1993. Also, an honourable mention to the Specials' eponymous 1979 debut, which is a f**king blistering album and one of my all time favourites, as well as being regarded as one of the most highly influential.

I would have to agree with you on the Stone Roses it's a perfect album. But what about "The La's"?

Panic at the Disco! It debuted at number one and took spin magazines album of the year.

I think Piper at the Gates of Dawn by Pink Floyd because it completely broke the mold.

Music is so much a matter of taste and that's what makes it so wonderful. The Who - My Generation for me, and I'm not old enough to have heard it first time round......
