There is nothing to make your old TV an HDTV.....it wasn't built for it.
The lines are doubled.....the frequency of scanning is doubled...
The phospher is finer....
You'd have to change all the CRTs and the Scanning circuits to make it HD...
Not cost worthy.....Best to buy a NEW TV and let the manufacturers do all the hard work.....
