Does anyone know a hack for dvd regions on a Sony RDR-VX515 and one to beat copy protection?
Add on not an option. I need a stand alone DVDrecorder that will record from hbo etc, and not a computer dvdrecorder.

Instead of hacking your dvd player why not use a PC program like DVDFab Gold, it will copy a dvd movie to hard drive and remove the copy protection, now the same program will copy the movie to a dvd burner, the copy will be an exact copy of the orignial. The program costs $39.00

Well that would be good if it was just one dvd, but I have a series, 36 dvd s, and don t really want to go through that with each one. Is there a hack code out there. I have the same sony dvd and I am stuck : (
