hail damage?
I have a lot of hail damage on my Audi, A6 2006.
I took it to a place and they say the only way to remove some of them (i.e. the door and a couple on the hood) is to bondo and paint, which I don't want to do because it's basically a brand new car.... should I take it to a few other places or what he saying true and just go with them?

It is customary for the insurance company to replace hoods, fenders and decklids when there are more than a couple of hail dents on them. however these are usally replaced with aftermarket parts that are inferior to OEM (manufacturers parts).
However the rest of the body in most cases will be repaired due to the costly nature to replace.
do not be afraid of bondo on the body of the car, because i just retired after 40 years as a bodyman and never once did auto body putty ever fall off a car.
