Very pretty. But it is a very small island so it won't take very long to explore it all. It literally took us only a couple of hours to go from north to the southern part of the island. Just make sure you go in the warmer months, it can get very, very cold in the winter months (unless of course you prefer colder weather, then enjoy).
It's also very inexpensive to visit.

In comparison to what? I think it's very pretty - prettier than Cape Cod, if that gives you a reference point.
