Why do you hate liberals?

because they want to take my hard earned money and give it to someone else. because they think our constitution covers every person in this world, because they say things like "our military are cold blooded killers" Because they think putting a bra on someone or making a guy dance with a guy is torture, which shouldnt be done even if it can protect just one of our military men. That they think that giving someone a handout is really going to help them improve their life, That they believe the govt can do a better job at business than the private sector, that they allow groups like the ACLU try to use the guise of "for the people" to actaully destroy this country....... I can go on and on.

First of all I don't hate Liberals....but I don't care for Liberalism. It's just a difference of opinion on how to run our country. I don't believe in higher taxes in order to "spread the wealth around". Whether people worked hard to get their money or were born into it, it doesn't matter. The government should keep their hands out of the citizen's pockets.

Education is another problem Liberals think if you just throw more money at the problem it will get better. NO! There has to be accountability for students, teachers, administrators and parents. They need to tone down the political correctness especially in schools.

Gun control. Now more than ever the law abiding citizens of our country should be able to keep weapons in their homes. Do you guys really think if you outlaw guns that the outlaws will give them up? NO! They will be the only ones with weapons.

I could go on, but I'm hogging space.

For me it comes down to this: I don't have faith in people like you do. I'll list just two examples here due to space:

TERRORISM

I don't believe terrorism would subside if we pull out of Iraq, and I don't believe this is George W's fault. Terrorists do reside in Iraq, and will attack us no matter what, no matter where we go. THEY came up with all this suicide bomb nonsense. Okay Americans can be jerks - that doesn't give extremists a ticket to attack whenever they feel like it.

TAXES

If we shuffle the tax schedule to help the poor, why am I responsible for the poor? I was poor once, I got out of it. Back to the people faith - I really don't believe the poor exist because of something I did, some just use it as an excuse for a free ride, and I'm tired of it. I lived in those poor neighborhoods, they're laughing at us. I'm not talking about those who got screwed, but the others who know how to play the welfare system - let's be careful how we handle these people in these next couple of years.

OK here goes.....First of all, I don't hate liberals. Some of my best friends are liberal. I like to argue with them to see what they think and to challenge my own beliefs. My view of liberals is that they have a great disdain for anyone that doesn't hold their views. Tolerance is great for everyone else but the minute they should tolerate a view different than their own they use personal attacks. I'm not saying everybody has to agree but at least show some tolerance. I know it isn't every liberal.

It's not hate it's mostly frustration wrongly forwarded. Liberalism is all about feelings, Think about it, It's How do you feel about this, or your feelings are, Liberalism of today is a aged idea brought back from the 60's and 70's, John Lennon's imagine the world is all about feelings there is no black and white there is all sorts of gray areas. While they like to say their beliefs are the middle of the road. that s nice but everything in the middle of the road is usually dead or in the path of something. While life isn't always black and white, most of use won't like to be on the wrong side of right or wrong. Thinking takes you away from how you feel, It's logic sorry looking how things will turn out for others and not yourself,

Liberals are not as liberal with their money as they are with their ideas and the tax payers money. Liberals do not give much to charities nor do they give much time to charitable causes. Conservatives have been found to be far more generous with their time and money supporting charitable causes and helping people truly in need.

I guess when you don't give of YOUR time or YOUR money it is hip to say I think the government should be helping all the poor unfortunates. It's the thought that counts right libby.

I don't hate liberals. They stand for things I can't understand. Like during and after Katrina, people were saying these people need more help. Where as conservatives, we think individuals need to make better decisions about their life, so you don't have to rely on the government. It's all about taking responsibility for yourself.Sounds like you don't like conservatives. Which is alright. It's a free country.

You wouldn't understand the answer anyway, and you really don't care about the answer. Liberals do not understand Iraq, they do not understand economics, and they do not understand the military. They vote in a gang that has no plan or agenda except to work to destroy America, raise taxes, and give amnesty to millions of criminals. Gee.......I wonder why we conservatives have such a low opinion of liberals. hmmmm......that's a tough one.
