Go to a community college for a year, make sure your grades are good, and then go wherever you want. Tell your counselor that enouragement like theirs has no place in the education system.

Maybe go to your community college for now. Besides preliminary courses are much cheaper their and if your grades improve apply to a university and that would depend on what your goal is. Medical? Law? A state college will probably accept you but nothing ivy league. Good luck and dont allow people to hold you back.

Apparently your guidence coucler shouldn't be a counceler because you can get into colleges, Have you tried looking into a 2 year college first and than transfering to a 4 year college. I'm currently in the process of doing that. I'm going to a community college to get my associates degree than transfering to a bigger school. Good Luck to you!

my gpa was around there and I got into Johnson State College in Vermont. You could always do a community college for a year, and then transfer to a four year college. A lot of times people do that. Good luck to you.

forget that looser. Just apply to colleges you`re interested. The passing test will give you new opportunities to show your skills.
