What would cause erractic laser mouse behavior and what can I do about it?
I have a laser mouse that has such erractic behavior it is hard to control. It is fully charged so that is not the problem. It races all around the screen and jumps here and there and I am not able to control it. What could cause this and what can I do about it?

Might be a loose connection. Unplug the transmitter from the PC and plug it back in again.

You are either using a bad surface (mirror, shiny desk, etc) as a mousepad or your mouse is going bad. In earlier optical mice, the laser sensor would break down prematurely causing the mouse to fail.
