the file size decrease when convert it from rm to mp3?

It might decrease in size but not in quality. Rm is a Realplayer file which needs extra information to run Real Player correctly

It all depends on how much you want to compress the MP3 - if you want the file to be a lot smaller, the audio won't be as good, but if you have the file about the same size, the audio will stay the same quality.
Generally though, yes, compressing to mp3 reduces the size of an audio track.

No I'm pretty sure RM files take up less space. a lot less space.
