What If the bible said follow Christ?
What the bible said follow Christ and all you had to do was say I believe in Jesus and I will follow him and do his will. Would you if his will was to have sex without being married, with anyone same sex or not, never be kind to anyone rather you want to or not, never go to church, there is no such thing as sin, someone will pay you monthly to be a believer and the stronger your faith got the more money you earned, the day you accept Jesus you would win a new house and a 1million dollar shopping spree, there would be a heaven for all people since there is no sin, and Jesus would even call you once a week and give you three wishes?
How many of you that do not believe would follow him then?
Acctually I just wanted to see how many people would say yes to him then I don't need to know how you personally feel about me and my religion I am a Christian and proud of it, I was trying to make a point that if people answered and said yes they would follow him if they could do all of these things then it's not really God they don't believe in they just don't want to do right. God Bless and have a good one....

Unbelievers want the things of this world, not the things of God.

Well, uh first of all. The Bible DOES say follow Jesus Christ. I am Catholic. I try to follow Jesus Christ. It's not easy. All the temptations, and sin around in the media (tv, music, internet). What you're describing is NOT God. God wouldn't do that because if there's no sin, there's no test. What's the point of this world. We live in on earth because Adam and Eve screwed up. We are being tested, tested if we really do love God. If we really do love God, we will give everything up and follow him. That means praying, going to church, reading the Bible, following the Ten Commandments, doing good deeds, and so on. It's all in the Bible.
If what you're describing was hypothetically normal, and not considered a sin then yes of course we wouldn't know any better. But with our knowledge right now, of course not. You know right from wrong. That wouldn't be right, so then I guess I wouldn't follow Jesus Christ. However, like I said, if that was the right way and we didn't know another way, then yes I would. I wouldn't do it because of the money or because of what you're saying, but because He is God. You follow, love, and worship your creator. What you're describing is like God is trying to bribe people to follow him with the money and the wishes, and all that. God doesn't bribe. You have free will... freedom to follow Him or not. It's your choice. Just remember as even scientists and non-religion people say...for every action there's a reaction, for every action there's a consequence. If you choose NOT to follow Jesus Christ then you don't belong in Heaven with Him. That's why you'd end up in hell.
God Bless you too.

These questions are actually inappropriate. I understand the "what if" questions in daily life- but to make questions like that against our Lord and Savior is just not right IMO. Jesus would never ask us to do that- therefore I dont even have an answer- but to say that you should not make light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important than to repent and ask for HIS forgiveness and Follow Him- He is SINLESS. And He asks us to repent of sin and follow Him. So by asking if Jesus were to ask us to sin, is just messed up. That would never happen!

no if you were being told to do these things then it ant from Jesus . he wouldn't want you to commit sin . people forget that Satan was also a angle of light and can come to you as one . always ask by what authority who said this to you ans ask for conformation from the bible. for it is the living word of god the father in heaven .

I still wouldn't "follow him" because there's still no proof of his divinity. I don't believe in things that are unproven.
BTW, I don't really care for the implication that because I'm not a Christian, I'm automatically a greedy, cold-hearted hedonist. Try to get a little perspective.

Of course not, just because a book says something, it does mean it is true. If you could do all that still, there is no point to believing, if you're goingto go to heaven anyway, there is no sin.

You've missed the point totally. Adding on bonus gifts does not make you believe in something you do not think exists. If I told you the tooth fairy rate was now £100 per tooth, would you have them all pulled out?

I think the bible is a huge crock, But I still believe in Jesus.

Alicia, i like the way you think, that is the perfect question, because i would think that many people would want to follow then.
