What do the stickers on the Ohio State helmet mean?

I thought it was the number of national titles they've won, or how many bowls in general they've won. Just wanted to know for sure

Buckeye Leaf: Refers to the stickers placed on the helmets of the Ohio State football players. If a player makes a good play, he is awarded with a Buckeye Leaf sticker to place on his helmet. If a player's helmet is completely covered with these stickers, that probably means he's a pretty good player!

Players get stickers for good games. I don't know exactly how Ohio State does it but a running back may get a sticker for every 20 yards rushing. A linebacker may get a sticker for getting a big tackle at the goal line. Basically, the more stickers the better the player.

A sticker is commonly awarded to players, by coaches, for instances of outstanding play.

They are called Buckeye's....and they represent acheivements made during the season for outstanding plays. Each player can fill his helmut if he wants. Quaterback sacks, 50 yard pass plays, things like that.
