I got into a debate with a jewish boy i know who walks his dog in the same park as me ....I would say he's around 15 and we got talking about his religon and the point that they dont believe that the planet earth has been around for millions of years....They believe that it all was created only a matter of thousands of years ago.......Give me some ammo to prove that we HAVE been here longer!!!....David

How old the earth is is of no importance, some believe (I do) that the world is no more that 8,000 to 10,000 at best.  Some believe that it is Millllliooonnnss of years old.  It doesn't change who God is.  As for the grand canyon and such things that people say could not have been createeed in just a few thousands years, well answer this, how old was Adam when God created him?  So if God can creat a full grow man, I think that he can creat a grand canyon a whole lot easier.  So to answer your question, there is no "proof" it's faith in what you believe.


Jack, how do you "know" they are thousands of years old, don't say carbon dating or some scientific theory, there are no facts to prove the bones are that old.

I would ask him then how come we are able to find bones of humans and animals that are hundreds of thousands years old, it is a fact that man has walked on this planet for over a hundred thousand years during the ice age for a start, have him explain that.

Coal seams, not just underground but under the sea. How can there possibly be coal which comes from dead organisms under several metres of bedrock under hundreds of feet of water unless the earth has existed for eons?
