    Not exactly. I believe in "happier than before forever after." There will be work at anything in life, but some situations can be better for people than others, and feel a little fairy tale like coz they're so much better than the past situations.

    Yes! It just takes a lot of patients and acceptance. Always rember you can not change the person but they are still the same person that you met. That is even if you dont agree with them.

    Yes, but they're not automatic. Enduring relationships take work, perhaps like a giant garden that you keep in cultivation for perpetuity.

    Source(s): In a country where 50% of the marriages fail and the average marriage length is nine years, my wife and I are approaching our 25th anniversary. Better than that, from time to time we discuss what we want to do on our _75th_ anniversary...all we have to do is live to age 99 without getting on each other's nerves, and we're there. :) Seriously: happily ever after is possible if you work at it.
