Can you place him in a box or wrap him in a blanket? Don't leave him outside if there is a chance an animal can get to him. Usually, you can take the dog to your local SPCA or Humane Organization and they will dispose of the body. I would call a local vet and ask for help. You can always bury the dog in your yard, but you must dig up the remains if you sell the property.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it can be. Take care!

Check your phone book or online for a pet cemetery in your area. If you can't find one then have a simple ceremony and bury him at a place that was special between the two of you. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Dogs get such a wonderful hold on our hearts and there's nothing so comfortable as an old dog. Again, I'm very sorry.

So sorry to hear about your dog. The best bet, besides calling an emergency vet clinic and paying a big fee for them to put it in their freezer until Monday, is to do that at home if possible. You can always call your vet or drop it off w/ them come Monday for general or private cremation, or even bury it at your home, depending on where you live.

you ought to tell her. The fault isn't yours. It won't rely why or how, a minimum of they are going to be attentive to the dogs has not been taken. as quickly as a ton of tears have been shed, the rationalization at the back of the dogs death ought to be stated and understood. I am so sorry to hear about your baby. My Meister passed away in May and our veterinarian has emergency hours on the weekends. Check your vet or your humane society. I took my pup there and I had him cremated and he is with me. When I pass he is going to be with me there too. Some towns don't allow you to bury your pets in the yard and some do. It depends on the ordinances in your area. Call your vet or Humane society right away. Wrap him up and keep him in a safe spot. Not outside. Good luck to you and I am so sorry for your loss.

Hallo,
1) have you tried talking to the Police first, or to the local animal shelter association (in case they work sundays).
2) Talk to an animal funeral company for orientation.
3) Or try 411 and I'm sure there should be any help or orientation.
I feel sorry for your dog and your pain.
Be better !
Best wishes from
Christian.

I am so sorry. I lost my dog of 14 years over Memorial Day weekend. I took her to the emergency vet clinic, and they offered to dispose of her body or have her cremated for me. I went the cremation route. Unfortunately, you will probably have to transport. So sorry.

You can. Pick him up and bury him. If you don't have somewhere to bury around your house, take him somewhere else and bury him. He's not trash you should set out on the side of the road for the trashman in the morning.

Your local humane society should have a 24 hour line to call in cases like this. You can call them and get some information and help. I'm sorry about your dog. =(
