It's hard to find in the US - we usually just have cassia and pretend it's cinnamon.
C verum is largely grown in Sri Lanka....
You should try a ethnic market - any Asian or Mexican grocery store is likely to have a good spice selection.
If you can't find any, it's very easy to buy on-line.
Lastly, if you can't do any of those, opt for Saigon cassia, it's now pretty easy to get in the US and has the closest taste to real cinnamon - sweeter and milder than the usual cassia.
