How do I find an Internet i.p. address?
I want to track down the physical location of a web site server through its i.p. address. Anyone know how I can do this?
These suggestions help me to find where an internet site is registered and how to find my own computer's i.p. address, but they don't show me how to find the i.p. location of a 3rd party web site.

1. Masked IP
- Open Command Prompt (Run -> type "cmd" )
- type "ipconfig /all" (no inverted comma's)
2. Unmasked IP
go to http://www.checkip.org/

I am not sure if this will help. It is freeware and is called "whois". It can be downloaded from http://www.freewarehome.com/ or http://www.freewarefiles.com/
