Good Linux Media Players?

I currently alternate between Amarok and VLC, but id like other options besides that

    http://pclinuxos.com/ has all 15 of the most popular players.

    Because it is a liveCDrom, you boot from CD and it runs in RAM.

    Play, examine the offerings. And, they are available seperately.

    Either search in http://google.com/linux or http://sourceforge.net/

    after you have played with them. Or, run the LiveCDrom.

    Personally I use MPlayer as my main video player and use XMMS as my audio player. Mplayer will play/stream ANYTHING and it saves the hassle of having a few different players on your box.

    XMMS loads up very quickly and does the job for playlists/audio streams etc.
