It was on ET. I guess Clay Aiken was a guest on Kelly and Regis and he touched Kelly. She didn't like it, said something and Rosie accused Kelly as "homophobic" on the View. I didn't even know Clay Aiken was gay.

Rosie used to be so funny. After she "came out" she has turned into such a crabby witch. I used to like her and don't anymore, and it has nothing to do with her sexual preference. I don't know why the View decided to get her. I think it was a really bad decision as the show now stinks!

I too saw all of what transpired. By no means did Kelly make the remark as homophobic. Clay was rude and would have never pulled a stunt like that with Regis or Rosie for that matter.

Now, Rosie gets involved and throws out the gay card.

Ok, first of all when did Clay ever pronounce that he was in fact gay?

    Is Rosie "outing" him?

That woman really needs to think before she speaks.

    Clay owes Kelly an apology

Rosie owes Kelly & Clay an apology, for turning it into a "gay thing"

It was pretty stupid BUT... Clay Aiken was a last minute fill in for Regis on R&K Friday (I think it was) anyway, Clay and Kelly, and who ever the guest was at the time (?) were trying to talk over each other about something and Clay spontaniously put his hand over Kelly's mouth trying to talk over her. This naturally pissed Kelly off just a tad and she responded by rather sternly warning Mr. Aiken to "never put your hand over my mouth AGAIN. There's no telling where that hand's been". That last part is what Rosie O'donald got her boxers in a bind over. She took that ( no telling where that hands been) remark as being a homophobic insult, and Kelly responded saying that was not her intent. That she was just concerned with cold or flu germs that might have been lingerin' on his hands. Personally, I'm going with Kelly on this one. There are other details of course, but that's the jist of it.

I fail to be certain the question right here, besides. Kelly Ripa probable meant her fact to be a shaggy dog tale and the full international (by utilising skill of Rosie O'Donnell and Clay Aiken's insane fan club) blew it out of share. i'm no longer implying what Kelly pronounced substitute into ok or agreeing with it, yet even celebrities could be afforded the ease of the doubt each each so often. recover from it.

The hand over the mouth incident was I think the final straw for Kelly. I caught the whole show on youtube and it appears that the two began having snide comments after a replay of Ripa dressing up and lip syncing as Clay last Halloween. He didn't take it as a joke as it was intended and you can see how Kelly struggled to keep things light during the show. He even made a comment about not going to the big wedding (joke) to host the show with her, although he was second guessing that decision (not joking). Throughout the show, there was some tension between them and I think she was fed up with his snide remarks and wasn't going to let him speak much. Personally, I think she was trying ot help him because he was coming across like a jerk. That's when he covered her mouth.

I didn't see what happened with Rosie, but from what I did see between Clay and Kelly, I'd say Rosie is making an absurd accusation. Kelly was no way coming across homophobic.

Clay cohosted "Live" with Kelly. During an interview, Kelly would not let Clay get a word in so he reached over and covered her mouth with his hand. She was quite annoyed by it and told him "No, No that is a no no"...it was awkward for a second, so she then tunred to the audience and said "Honey I don't where that hand has been".

The next day, instead of just letting it all pass, she complained about the whole incident to Regis on the show which stirred the pot even more.

Next, Rosie pipes in on the View and says that she found Kelly's "where that hand has been" statement "homophobic.

Next, Kelly calls in the View and has it out with Rosie on the air. She said she is not "homophobic".

Friday, Clay was a guest host on Live, he was acting strange maybe a bit nervous but Kelly was talking and he put his hand over her mouth!!!!!!!! Very rude! Needless to say Kelly was not happy and she expressed this on Monday's show. (I thought she handled herself quite diplomatically).

Today on the View, Rosie took offence to Kelly thinking Kelly came off as being homophobic???? Kelly phoned into the View and her and Rosie talked. From what I hear it was left with a bit of tension still but hopefully Rosie and her can move past this. Kelly was simply defending herself and in my view, she did a good job and handled it well.

Check out www.youtube.com for the clip of Clay on Live as a guest host yesterday. Then check out the clip from today where Kelly speaks with Regis about how she was offended by Clay.

Okay I am so with kelly on this one . it was rude of clay to cover her mouth that was very unprofessional and crude. And i did not find her statement homophobic as rosie (the pig) stated on the view when did rosie decide that any of this was her business and she had the right to say anything. good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiving.

Kelly Rippa was talking to Clay about his sexuality and Clay went to cover Kelly's mouth. Kelly then replied (supposedly jokingly) don't put your hand over my mouth, who knows where your hands been. Rosie said on her show the View... defending Clay that Kelly is homophobic. Kelly then called View and told Rosie it was unprofessional of her to make that remark, and her and Clay are friends. Rosie stand by what she said... period. LOL
