Is one firewall better than the other?

Specifically, is a firewall you pay for, such as Mcafee or Norton, any better than the free one that comes with Windows XP, be it service pack one or two?

the windows xp firewall is limited as its only 1 way protection therefore not good.

there are some free firewalls, zone alarm has a free one also a paid for pro version which has a few more things added.

its the best firewall to get.

norton and mcafee are good but not the best options.

Most definetly all firewalls are not created equal. I discovered a new and upcoming company that has a free firewall. Don't pay any attention to the free part. It may be simply the best out there pay or free. It gets lots of good reviews across the net. You can get the Comodo firewall at www.comodo.com.

You can look at some reviews at the following links.....
