What do you consider illegal immigration?

What do you consider illegal immigration? Does that include Europeans? People from Poland, Canada? Italy? Or just do you mean Mexico?

What if they have been here for 5 years, 10 years 20 years?

It’s just where I come from I probably have more people from Poland that are illegal. Where do you want to draw the line?

I can only go by my own experiences and I do live in a more upscale area, but I really can’t say I have met a polish immigrant I have not liked, but again, based upon my experiences of where I live, I have never met an Mexican immigrant I didn’t like either

Update:

And what should the requirements be to become a US citizen

Update 2:

You also have to remember MANY of the illegals have came here from Europe under pretty much a blind eye (and a wink)

Illegal immigration is anyone in this country illegally, ANYONE. It's not fair to give one group special treatment. It also doesn't matter how long they have been here, if they have been here illegally(though technically those who have been here for 20 years should have applied for the amnesty). I don't go around asking for legal status, and I like a great deal of people too. But while I like groups of people, I may still dislike things they do. I think it's obvious why we should have secure borders, but I think it's okay to help someone come over the right way too. The immigration system is bogged down with people, and it needs repair, but at the same time more care should be taken to scrutinize who is let in. Immigration has obviously not been doing it's job in this respect, because we have had LOTS of problems with legal people, especially of late.

You and many others just do not get it. Illegal immigrations ARE ILLEGAL. Illegal means crime against the law. Acting against the laws of the country makes for a crime being committed. You commit a crime, you need to be punish such as fine, jail time and in case if illegal immigrants, deportation. It does not matter that you have been illegal for 5 years, 10 years or more. There have been one time that amnesty was granted as long as the illegals who have been in the country for a long time were given the chance to file for citizenships. But the US can not keep giving amnesty, all it does is encourage more illegal immigrations.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION includes anyone here illegally from MEXICO, Spain, France, Australia, Poland. Whatever. Illegal is Illegal. The problem here is that the majority of illegals are from Mexico, and bring their spanish along with them, and their disrespect for our countrys laws. Americans are sick of it. Action needs to be taken.

It does not matter how long they have been here illegally, they need to GO HOME and come back LEGALLY! I dont care if theyve been here 1 month, 1 year, or 40 years, GO HOME, go through the neccessary procedures, then come back.

Immigrating without proper documentation=illegal immigration. I think its used on Mexico because that's where a majority come from, and it is a hazard to us, just because all we need is a few bad ones to get across (not necessarily from Mexico) and we could have another 9/11 or Oklahoma city.

When I say Illegal Immigration, I mean ANYONE who comes into our country in a manner which is not lawful. If you enter the country undocumented (You did not identify yourself to Immigrations and Customs), reside here unlawfully, work here unlawfully, or enter under false pretenses (You hooked up with an American for citizenship), then you are here ILLEGALLY. It applies to all who would do it no matter who you are or where you are from.

Obey the regulation and artwork in this count number interior the confines of the regulation. The intentions are super yet all of us has some 'exception' or the different and this defeats the full purpose of combating unlawful immegration.

Most people seem to think they don't need immigration. If they are so against it then they should have done something about it along time ago.

In short, anyone stays in another country without permission is an illegal alien.
