Lord of The Rings Battle for Middle Earth II Game as a gift?

I am considering giving my husband who is an advid online rpg player (Current obession World of Warcraft) this game as a gift as well as the soon to be released expasion pack Rise of the Witch King. Since I don't play these games myself and I want to surprise him can anyone tell me if this is a worthwhile gift for someone who likes WOW? Will he enjoy it or can you recommend a different game if you think he won't like LOTR?

Update:

Edit: Yes he does like the "god view games"/strategy games as well. He LOVED one I got him one year just by chance called Dungeon Keeper and it's expansions. But he's so fussy sometimes about graphics, details, etc, that I'm just trying to be cautious, I'd love to repeat the great surprise of him loving Dungeon Keeper with whatever I get him. Oh and we have PC and Nintendo Game Cube, but he doesn't really play the game cube that much. Can't afford anything newer pricer right now. Thanks all!

Well, LOTR :BFME 2 is not an RPG. It's an RTS, which means you control your vast armies from a god-like perspective. He might not like it as its very different from an RPG since in an RPG you control one character in depth whereas in an RTS you control hundreds of units very superficially. If he is a WOW player I suggest maybe Neverwinter Nights 2 or maybe Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Which I highly recommend. It took me 125 hrs to play it through several times and do every quest in different ways. Beautiful game). Those are better RPGs.

properly first situation is that you downloaded it. in case you pick to be 100 % secure about a sport then you might want to bypass purchase it on the save. A acquire has an basic danger to develop into corrupt, fantastically even as downloading better archives. Your sport archives are truly corrupt or your computing device does no longer meet certain criteria to run the game.
