I do, but I've never tried to get it published. I think I've always written it as an escape for my self. Good way to get your feelings out. I've been really happy and proud of some of them, but I've always mostly done it for myself.

Its rather hard to get published fr poetry. Not much has been written after the great poets like Poe and others. To answer your question, I write poetry to mom for mothers day. I have not tried to get published.

I write poetry. It's really bad, for the most part, and kinda pathetic at best. I've attempted to get published through some Council for the Arts projects (in Canada). Unfortunately, the judges could read, so no dice... *grin* ~ Andrea

I write poetry and I have been published in various hospice publications. Right now I am working on a project that will benefit hospice bereavement programs...a workbook of grief based on my poetry. I guess I am like anyone else who writes poetry...my dream would be to one day make a difference in the world with my writing and make a living doing it.

Why oh Dy dost thou ask I?These words i pose, before i doze,

and dream in slumber, this late november,of weighty things on

butterfly wings, and words that ryme with purple.
