I ask a question on this earlier tonight. I think it is obvious Putin had him killed. He met with some government officials for lunch then later went to the hospital... poisoned.

    Alexander Litvinenko Movie

Why does everyone seem to have sympathy for Litvinenko? What you overlook is that this man is a traitor. He turned against his own county and no doubt gave up state secrets to gain entry in the UK. Think about how the Russian people would feel? Would Americans have sympathy if Benedict Arnold was poisoned by George Washington?

THis man may be useful to the west because of all the information he knows, but certainly a defector deserves no respect. They have already shown they cannot be trusted once.

I don't think a movie would be good right now. Not even a loose script structure seems a bit much. Although it may make for a good script, people need time to grieve.

And another thing, Mr Litvinenko was a defector, but for good reasons. And it's evident that one side knew he was against them, because now he is dead.

He probably poisoned himself, thinking that he'd do just enough to make himself sick so he could get attention and strengthen the sales of his newly published book, but he effed-up?

    Maybe.
