Do you rally think Myskina was serious about retiring from tennis?

She said that she would consider retiring if she fails to qualify for Madrid 2006. Do you think she's serious?

the poor girl has had many ups and downs the past few years, both on and off the court.

she may want to take a break. but if she does, i suspect she will come back (much like hingis did)

i certainly have enjoyed watching her play tennis over the years.. she's a great athelete, and she has a great body too!

dunno if she was serious, but i think she was just trying to motivate herself to compete. I haven't got the news or even checked if next year she plans to step out and retire. Hopefully, she was just kidding and tried to encourage herself. Myskina is one of my fav players, she's smart on the court and if she puts her whole heart and belief on herself, i do believe that she could upset Henin or Sharapova.
