Need help removing someone from Yahoo messenger?

Delete them from your messenger list by right click and selecting delete. Check the box that says "Delete from address book". After that, when they send you messages next time, message box will show an ignore button on right corner above message area. Click on that and the person will not be able to send you message thereafter. But, take care not to check the box "Declare as spam" in igine dialog box unless & until you are confirmed they are one. You fell out with your old friends doesn't give you license to declare them as spammer. It will make their life difficult.

After you sign on to messenger,click the name to highlight,on the very top of messenger.go to contact and click on it,look for delete and click .this will delete it .I f you want to delete them from your computer go to your address book and delete them. If hey I.M.you ,just click Ignore located on the top part of I.M.BOX. that will take care of it.Good luck.

The next time they IM you click ignore ...on your yahoo IM you can click on their name and then right click..select delete and it will delete the person.

all you do is delete them which you right click an there should be a delete an if they IM you again there should be an ignore button on your IM then you can just ignore them...... later

when you have your messenger open it should say in one of those boxes like file ... it should say delete or block then you just click on it

left click then delete

just block them
