Do You Have This Fear (Trigger)?

I`ve never seen any dead people except for my mom. And I kept looking at her and HOPED that she`d open her eyes and smile, and I`d realize it was all a BAD DREAM or just my imagination.

So I guess it`s all about how you relate to the dead person and to the situation... If it`s somebody you really cared about, deep down I think you hope that they`d open their eyes....

Or maybe I`m just being weird, dunno!...

I did, when I was very little. Then I came to understand that these bodies are just like a coat. And when we don't need the coat any more, we just slip it off and move on. Now thatI know that, I can go to funerals and wakes and I don't worry about zombies.....

No...I avoid 'open casket' things, because if I care enough to go to someone's funeral, it's because I loved them, and I want to remember them as they WERE, not dead in a box.

No, but that's the reason it's called a "wake". Back in time, sometimes people got buried alive, so they began the practice of holding a wake, just in case the "dead" person would wake up!

No,I never look at any person in their casket,I don't want my last mind picture of them to be them dead.I want to think of the happy times not them laying in their casket
