Quicktime files - final cut pro editing?

Is there a way to lock some quicktime files so that they won't be deleted when I delete files from a project - i make a twice weekly TV show but use the same titles each week and want to keep them.

--------

Also can 10 bit uncompressed video go via firewire?

Cheers - Keith.

For the first one - CTRL click on file and tick the 'lock' box.

Second - yes, should be no problem.

As far as I know the firewire will do that, as for the saving of the titles when i want to do that i just take the titles copy and paste them into a seperate sequence and keep that sequence handy for further pasting that way its always availble independent of other shows.
