What's wrong with my mouse?
The red light on the bottom flickers on and off, and sometimes it just stays off and I have to unplug it and replug it. When the light turns off, the cursor won't move. Also, sometimes when the light IS on, the cursor STILL won't move. Do I need to replace my mouse? Or if not, what else do I need to do?
There's no batteries in it. It's not wireless.

A couple of steps to use to troubleshoot:
1.If it is cordless, replace the batteries
2. Re-install the drivers for it.
3.If it is USB, change the USB port it is plugged into. If that fixes, you have a bad USB port on Motherboard
4.Test mouse on another system (if you have one), If works okay there, its a problem with your system , not the mouse
5.Test with mouse from another system (if you have one)If this one works okay, its a problem with mouse, not your system
6. If you use PS2 mouse, could be bad PS2 port, so try a USB mouse

It could be out of batteries, if that dont help go search for a new mouse to buy on www.buy.com, but today my mouse was messing for quite a month and today and opened the mouse without caring about it and cleaned and stuff inside and now it works good, i dont have problems with it anymore, if I do again its going to toilet.

It sounds as if you may have a bad mouse. It may be a bad plug or broken or loose wire. Mouses are fairly inexpensive so I would just replace it.

I would probably get a new mouse at this point, its probably not worth trying to repair it. I recommend Razer mouse products or Logitech.

its probably the usb port on your computer. try sticking it in another usb port or try using the same mouse on another computer and see if it works. that way you will know whats going on. or it could be that your copy of windows didnt pick up the drivers correctly in which case, you might wanna reinstall the drivers.

I think that you should replace it b/c it seems like it's running out of power.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
