I recently rebrought a ps2 (last one crashed and cannot live without it) but i was wondering how to get it online
I have a wireless rerouter can i use that??

No, you'd have to hardwire your PS2 through an ethernet cable. Some wireless routers allow that (have a slot) and some don't. If yours doesn't, you can hardwire your PS2 to your computer or laptop with an ethernet cable, and configure it as a LAN device. Then the PS2 should be able to go online.

The PS2 standard doesn't have network card, if so, you may not to buy this (about $45). If your PS2 is new design with already have built-in network card. COnnec your PS2 to internet modernby RJ45 network ( the LAN cable ). Then, use the provided CD with the system to set-up. You may need to contact your ISP for some information to complele the work.

you can buy a wirelles gamming adapter for it to play wirelessly but i don't suggest getting a wireless connection you'll lag in your games alot but if your wireless router has RJ-45 connecters in the back like a hub you can connect it directly by cable wired is better than going wireless strounger connection also to get it online if u got the slim ps2 you need a network startup disk for it
