Is medicare paying for the new shingles vaccine?

    Beginning in January, they will be paying for the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine. It will be treated as a prescription drug and beneficiaries need to check with their current prescription drug plan provider to see how much the vaccine will cost on their plan or if it will even be covered.
