He also referred to himself as the son of man, don't forget. But I see your point. It makes sense to me, especially when he says he and his father are one. He also, never sinned, and no man has ever or will ever be able to do that, this side of heaven. Indeed he was declaring he was god. Whats more, his actions showed he was god, from how he was born, and the events surrounding, to how he lived his life to the end. All the prophecies also supported his claims. Hard to deny he was exactly who he said he was. To think otherwise takes a bit of mental gymnastics.

Son of God is a title of Jesus. It implies His deity (John 5:18) because the title is one of equality with God. In the OT it was figuratively applied to Israel (Exo 4:22). In the NT it is applied to Christ (Luke 1:35). It has many facets, for example: It shows that He is to be honored equally with the Father (John 5:22-23). That He is to be worshiped (Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33; John 9:35-38; Heb. 1:6); called God (John 20:28; Col. 2:9; Heb. 1:8); prayed to (Acts 7:55-60; 1 Cor. 1:1-2).
John chapter one, John writes about the Word (Jesus) and God (the Father). In verse 14 it says the Word became flesh. In verse 18 it says no one has seen God. Since Jesus is the Word, God then, refers to the Father, and the apparent contradiction is easily resolved, especially when this is examined in the light of Jesus' words in John 6:46 where He said that no one has ever seen the Father. Therefore, Almighty God was seen, but not the Father. It was Jesus before His incarnation. There is more than one person in the Godhead and the doctrine of the Trinity must be true.

This has been equipped upon, it has created an marketplace of religions. God isn't human, nor a being. No being might want to create the universe. image voltaic platforms, galaxies, and so on. yet to respond to the question, the position did this all initiate, guy has created a god.

Wouldn't that make him A god, or some type of god, but not THE god?
That sounds like saying that the son of Frank Sinatra is Frank Sinatra. He may be human but he's not the same.

No. Speaking of his Father in prayer, Jesus said: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one you sent forth, Jesus Christ." Jesus called his Father the ONLY true God, excluding himself. This harmonizes with John 3:17, where it said that God sent his son to the earth; he(God) did not come himself.
To believe that Jesus is God is to deny everything he said about himself and his relationship with his God and Father.
On earth, Jesus was human. He is now a mighty spirit creature who is sitting at God's right hand. By the way, if Jesus is sitting at God's right hand, how could he be God?

Jesus and God are two separate people. You know that.
Acts 7: 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Two people here.

No. I don't. Jesus, lets all play nice and pretend like he existed even if we don't believe he did, was born of a mortal woman and god. He was the son of a god but not a god, caught between man and god.

Jesus is not the son of God. No where its mentioned he is the Son of God. However, in bible its said that 'Adam is the son of God'.... "..the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God." (Luke 3:38)
"My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all". (John 10:29 ). Father is Greater than Jesus.. Therefore, Jesus cannot be God !
