Will he be OK?
My guinea pig is going in on Friday to be neutered. I bought a male and a female guinea pig without knowing it (the pet store didnt inform me) I am taking him to a great clinic, but since this is the first time I have ever had guinea pigs ofcourse I am nervous. I have always had dogs and have had one female spayed and she was fine. My guinea pig is such a sweet little guy, I want to make sure he is OK. Has anyone done this before?? If so, results?? Were they OK?

I have never done it before, just with my dog and cat. You are so sweet to be so concerned. I am sure he will be just fine. My lab was 106lbs, and he was fine, your guinea pig should heal up real quick.

i have a male guinea pig as well, and he is not neutered yet because he is on his own right now. i know of many people who have neutered their piggies and everything turned out just fine. good luck.
