Why are you embarrassed about trying dating sites? They are great tools. Most of the guys I've met the past 10 yrs (and gone out with) are ones I've met online somehow.

However, look around you any time of day...unless you live in a monastery, women are everywhere. You don't need a bar or nightclub to meet women...they are in the supermarket, the coffee shop, the fast food place, the dry cleaners, the home improvement store, department store, gas station, bank, etc...
