I think Stephen Chow is crazy and well known for his attitude problem and a perfectionist.
However he has his charisma and all the movies that he make though its really bizarre and to some extend so ridiculous BUT everyone have to admit it something different, something ppl have never done before and it does make you laugh.
At the end of the day its for the sake of entertainment so just lay back and enjoy.

Odd ball. Great actor? Don't think so.
Good comedian though. Good for a few laughs. Find his acting a bit shallow. Can't hold a stick to the other chow, andy or tony.
