i live in uk im doing gcse exam iwant be a nurse but i dont know how to start what should i do help?

i want be nurse but i havent got clue how to start how long ist going to finsh do i have to start after finshing year 11 or after colleage thank you

    You should decide if you want to do child, adult, learning disability, mental health or maternity.

    They all take 3-4 years to complete and you can do them as a diploma or a degree. There are bursaries available for most of the courses. Since you are unable to start a nursing course until you are 17 years old I would reccomend a pre-nursing course at local FE college or A levels (need these to do the degree).

    The other way to go about this is to speak to your local nursing education provider via the NMAS website

    or alternativley the armed forces will also train medical staff.
